You know, in the past I have always maintained that I love the sociological aspects of the Honorverse & Safehold novels best, but it occurs to me that I really am a junky for Mr Weber’s incredibly dry (one could almost say ‘British’) sense of humour as well:““I’ve discovered the lot of you are all grown up — or close enough I can trust you to talk things over without me, anyway. Besides, we’d already discussed everything I knew was going to come up, so I figured you could play without adult supervision this once.””
